Where is she now
The FHC was very sad to lose Martha after she became an instrumental fixture in the lab and contributed to so many different projects. Martha worked in the lab from 2013-2014 and in the Fall of 2014 started a MS. So she is staying on in ETAL as a graduate student!

Research
- Interested in applying spatial analysis methods to help restore ecologically impacted sites throughout the Western United States
- Previous research applying the Beaver Restoration Assessment Tool (BRAT), a spatial analysis, to model beaver dam potential in Grand Teton National Park
Bio
Martha Jensen has a BS degree from Utah State University where her course work focused on GIS spatial analysis techniques and native plant conservation. Her professional experience includes: threatened and endangered native plant surveys throughout the Intermountain region, USEPA Superfund site monitoring and reporting, USFWS electro-fishing and macro-invertebrate sampling, and Environmental Site Assessments. She is currently applying her GIS skills to assist the Fluvial Habitats Center on a variety of projects, in addition to developing a cartographic standard for the Lab.
