This is the raster compliment to our coverage of vector-based spatial analysis. We will rely heavilly on the example of raster digitial elevation models (DEMs) as an example of raster data we can do many types of spaital analyses with.
This topic and the lab help fulfill learning outcomes 1, 2 and 4 for the course.
