Bio

Connor Penrod, is a research assistant for the ET-AL lab at Utah State University. Connor earned a degree in Physical Geography from San Diego State University in 2013. After completing his degree Connor worked as a research assistant at Utah State University for one year, then as a fisheries technician based in Salmon Idaho. In 2017 Connor began working with Dr. Joe Wheaton in pursuit of a Master degree in Watershed Sciences.

Projects

  • Beaver dam dynamics in the Logan-Little Bear watershed after the 2011 spring flood event. Determining the time it takes to repair or replace a breached or blown out beaver dam. Also attempting to determine the rate of reoccupation of streams to see if there is a correlation with their capacity level as determined by the Beaver Restoration assessment Tool (BRAT)
